The Beacon Country House B & B and Luxury Shepherd Huts is a family run hotel/B & B which has been operating in St Agnes since the 1940s (previously known as the Sunholme Hotel) and is a well known landmark in the local area.
Thanks to its magnificent countryside and coastal views, the Beacon is a Country House Hotel/B & B with the emphasis very much on peace and quiet and natural beauty.
It commands one of the best vistas in the area, with far reaching views inland and along the coast to St Ives, and not to forget the endless stargazing that can be done across the moonlit sea in the evenings.
Over the years the hotel has been developed and upgraded to keep ahead of the times, with the addition of a self catering apartment and 4 luxury shepherd huts, ensuring our guests get facilities that are expected from a modern venue.
The Beacon is very much a family run Hotel/B & B with Nigel, Jayne, Sam and Alice all working to make your stay one to remember.
The family are fully supported by a small loyal team of local waiters, waitresses and housekeepers who are geared to providing our visitors with the opportunity to relax and unwind in the quiet, friendly and stunning surroundings.
Beautifully located on the slopes of the Beacon, our two acres of grounds are proudly looked after by our team of gardeners. There are plenty of benches and seats to sit and admire the changing colours, have a drink from the bar and listen to the sounds of the countryside.
Surrounded by wildlife, rabbits, foxes, pheasants and other birds, the hustle and bustle of city life are left far behind.
